Ask About Our Summer Boat Wrap Special
Please take the time to read the following in its entirety to completely understand the terms and conditions regarding the purchase and maintenance of film wraps, paint protection, or window films for your vehicle. You are solely responsible for reviewing our terms and conditions before submitting a request for service.
We will begin work once the deposit has been made. Upon drop-off, a pre-inspection form must be completed by the customer and JLV Wraps.
ACCURACY OF SPECIFICATIONS
Estimates are based on the accuracy of the specifications provided by you, the customer. If we discover, after accepting the vehicle, products, or digital file, that corrections or modifications are needed, we will notify you immediately. At that time, a decision will be made regarding any additional costs and how you wish for us to proceed. Any verbal requests or orders by the customer will be accepted; however, in the absence of supportive documentation, JLV Wraps will not be responsible for verbal mistakes.
JLV Wraps will not accept responsibility for inaccuracies in orders telephoned in by the customer. We make every effort to provide accurate quotes, but if unforeseen circumstances or costs arise, we will notify you of any necessary adjustments or potential delays.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS, FEES, TERMS OF PAYMENT, AND DISPUTES
The customer agrees to make a 50% deposit before the ordering of materials and/or the presentation of artwork. The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to the release of the vehicle. The vehicle or products will not be released until full payment has been processed. Any invoice not paid at the time of delivery is considered past due, and the customer is responsible for all collection fees, including but not limited to attorney fees and court costs, for unpaid balances at an interest rate of $15 or 15% per month, whichever is greater.
By accepting the vehicle, you acknowledge that the job is complete and satisfactory. You are responsible for inspecting the product and vehicle upon receipt. However, all warranties on products and installation are honored, as our top priority is delivering a high-quality product.
JLV Wraps is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or articles left in vehicles due to fire, theft, accident, or any other cause beyond our control. We do not accept responsibility for consequential damages or losses related to the sale, installation, or delivery of our products. It is the client’s responsibility to review the Terms & Conditions on our website before contacting JLV Wraps for service. All quotations are valid for 30 days.
For bus ads, the customer agrees to pay 100% prior to printing and installation. All invoices will include removal at the end of the customer’s ad contract with the city. We will coordinate with the city to ensure seamless removal on the scheduled date.
CONDITION OF VEHICLE PRIOR TO WRAP INSTALLATION
The vehicle must be delivered to our location clean and free of dirt, grease, oil, and wax. A cleaning charge of $75.00 per hour will be assessed for additional cleaning or removal of existing film wrap. JLV Wraps is not responsible for the vehicle’s surface condition when brought to us. Any rust, bubbling, scratches, dents, or other imperfections will be visible through the film and may cause premature film failure or poor adhesion.
Any repaired areas must be properly refinished with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) paint or clear coat. Recently applied finishes must cure for the full duration recommended by the paint manufacturer (minimum of 30 days) before applying a wrap. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PRE-EXISTING VEHICLE CONDITIONS OR THE STATE OF THE VEHICLE SURFACE ONCE THE WRAP IS INSTALLED.
RETURNS
The 50% deposit for materials, supplies, and artwork is non-refundable once materials are ordered, plotter cut, or printed. All films are custom-ordered, and the customer is responsible for the cost once the deposit is made. If a job is canceled or the customer no longer wants the product, the film and artwork remain non-refundable.
All returns are at the discretion of JLV Wraps. If an issue arises, the customer must submit a written complaint and provide JLV Wraps with an opportunity to address the issue before pursuing legal action. Since wrap jobs are customized to each customer’s specifications, JLV Wraps must be given the opportunity to resolve concerns, including reprinting or reinstallation.
If the client initiates a credit card chargeback or check cancellation, they will be liable for all legal fees and additional costs incurred by JLV Wraps. If a credit card dispute is ruled in favor of JLV Wraps, and we suffer losses due to the client’s actions, the client is responsible for all related legal fees and court costs. If the customer fails to make full payment, they authorize JLV Wraps to remove the installed film. ALL CONTRACTS ARE FINAL, AND NO MONETARY REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
ESTIMATES
Estimates are good faith approximations based on current information. Estimates are valid for 30 days and subject to change.
VEHICLE INSPECTION/CONDITION
JLV Wraps will complete a pre-inspection report when the car is delivered and a post-inspection before releasing the vehicle. JLV Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing surface conditions. The film will take the shape of the underlying surface. Any areas needing repairs must be finished with OEM paint or clear coat before wrapping.
INSTALLATIONS
FILM WRAP IS NOT PAINT! We strive to make wraps as seamless as possible, but due to the nature of film, there may be visible seams, relief cuts, or slight color mismatches. Some areas, such as door handles, mirrors, gas caps, and deep curves, may require additional cuts or patches. Minor tenting or lifting may occur and will be addressed in the 30–60-day check-up if necessary.
For printed graphics, while we make every effort to align designs across panels, complex vehicle shapes may result in slight misalignments. A 5% margin of error is considered acceptable for printed designs.
Wraps must be applied to a “like new” vehicle finish. Poor surface conditions, including rust, bubbling, or body filler repairs, may cause adhesion issues. Installation time depends on factors such as film type, curing time, vehicle size, and unforeseen circumstances.
Wrap material does not adhere well to plastic, primer, silicone, or rubber surfaces. If the customer requests these areas to be wrapped, JLV Wraps is not responsible for adhesion issues, and additional costs may apply.
If film lifting occurs, it is typically a material issue and is most noticeable within the first few weeks. We require a 30–60-day check-up to address potential issues. If you do not return within this timeframe, we are not responsible for the condition of the wrap.
REMOVALS
Vehicle wrap removals are quoted separately and billed hourly. Film removal is labor-intensive and can be costly. JLV Wraps is not responsible for the condition of the paint beneath the wrap. While OEM paint typically remains undamaged, it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle surface is suitable for wrap removal.
WARRANTY AND MATERIALS
All materials are custom-ordered per the customer’s request. JLV Wraps is not the manufacturer of the film; warranties are provided by the product manufacturer. For warranty details, please visit the manufacturer’s website.
JLV Wraps is the installer and will work with the manufacturer to address product issues. However, damage caused by the customer or third parties is not covered under warranty. JLV Wraps is not responsible for services contracted out to third-party vendors.
